Crystal Palace- congestion/emission charges
Hi Folks.
We are booked into the Crystal Palace site and have heard tell that there is a route in which avoids all the congestion/emission charges. I would be very grateful if anyone can kindly give me any information about this. Apparently, the satnav could take us into the controlled zones. We will be approaching London from the South West on the M3.
Thank you for your help

I live about 5 miles from the site, its neither in the C charge or ULEZ zone at the moment. whatever route you choose from the M3 you will be OK. I would suggest you look at leaving the M3 and joining the M25 towards Gatwick. have a look at a good map, my personal choice would be to come in to South London via the A3 from the M25 and follow your Sat Nav to the site. If you want a more detailed route, please let me know. Happy to help with my local knowledge
That's assuming your outfit is LEZ compliant (not an older Motorhome)

Even when the ULEZ is widened in 2021 it will still be possible to approach Crystal Palace along the South Circular Road as described in the Club's instructions . The expensive charging will be for the area within that road and the North Circular road. Mind you it looks as though the Crystal Palace site will be closed by 2021.

Hi Folks
Thank you so much for your help.
Thanks milothedog! A touch more detail would be really useful for a country dweller towing a caravan through a busy area. I have a 15 reg 2 litre diesel tow car so I hope that it passes!
Bus pass packed, thanks
