This is not a recommendation but more of a question. Does anyone watch this programme? If so, in last night's episode there was a singer in the jazz club who I was convinced was the lead singer of Elbow, Guy Garvey. There is a link in that he is married to Rachel Sterling who plays Millie. One of those annoying questions that spin around in your head. An immediate search of the cast did not answer my question. He had a cameo role in Car Share.

    As well as the city backdrop and its numerous diverse neighbourhoods, music plays an important part in setting the mood and tone for the series, via both jazz and the emerging genre of of rock ‘n’ roll. Guy Garvey, the lead singer of British band Elbow, notably makes an appearance on stage. Having internet probs and not sure if link will work

    Thank you Alan, I don't think I would have found that. I don't know what made me think it was him, perhaps the singing style? Good to know my hunch was right.

    I googled 'Guy Garvey TV appearance Bletchley Circle' and it was 4 or 5 down the list David

    I recognised Guy Garvey when he was singing, then confirmed my thoughts as the cast list rolled at the end.
