Black Horse site/ dogs

Just got back from a few days at Black Horse site at Densole in Kent. Really nice. Wardens excellent and location, near to nice pub and with bus service outside site to Canterbury and Folkstone, very useful.

Guy in next pitch had small dog that yapped constantly every time he was out of its sight - even when tied to the rear of his van when he was washing the front. He seemed oblivious to the constant noise. Should have moved, I know. Don't mind dogs generally but this was the pits!! Had to tell someone, sorry!

Didn't you think to mention it to your next door neighbour, and if it continued to annoy you to the site warden?

    My thoughts, too.

DJAK, in the thread dedicated to touring with dogs we are asked not to bring dog complaints here but to take them up with the warden on site at the time so action can be taken. If that doesn’t achieve a result, then we are asked to contact the club directly.

Don't be surprised if this thread is closed.

My experience is small dogs tend to be yappers so tend to scrutinise pitches carefully before making my choice

Perhaps the dog was trying to tell his owner that you should wash your van  on a pitch wink

One way to stop the airing of any percieved problems regarding canines as far as I am concerned TW

    DJAK

Such an issue that you raise really has to be sorted on that particular site. No amount of discussion will change the situation. You either have to speak directly to the member or the warden. I will close this thread.

    Thanks
