Hi all. We have just purchased a 2015 Luna Clubman SB. My Wife would like to know anyone with fixed single beds, what type of bedding works best? Thank you in advance for your ideas.

We have a different model but also have two single beds and use a king sized duvet folded in half lengthwise on each bed - i.e. sleep on half with the other half over you.  Works for us and, in winter, we often carry two single 3.5 tog duvets for extra/emergency warmth.

We bought a Duvalay compact sleeping bag for our daughter. It is extremely comfortable, keeps her warm, and is easy to get into as the 'top' just folds back and flops over again, like a sleeping bag without a zip, plus the foam base gives plenty of support.

It is used other than in the caravan too, sleepovers, bunkhouses etc

They have some on clearance currently. We got a deal on ours from the caravan dealer one bank holiday

Our new motorhome has two long single beds and we found that 2ft 6inch fitted sheets worked quite well. We use single 7 TOG duvets and just tuck one side down the side of the cushion (I assume you could do the same if you have proper mattresses?) It all seems to work well.

Different van but with twin beds and I use a standard sleeping bag but the wife prefers a duvet.Fitted sheets work fine tucked down the side of the mattress if needed.

We use our bench seats in the motorhome as single beds and use two Duvalays. We chose the thickest memory foam (5cm) and of course they come with integral sheets. They roll up and store under one of the seats and it takes just a couple of minutes to unroll them into position; no additional bedding is required and they are very comfortable.

We used to hate making beds up and ended up with a large fixed bed caravan, however, it still took a while to make the bed and overall the van was just too large for towing around Europe. The Duvalays solve all these problems.

Thank you all for your comments. At The moment we are using sleeping bags, but I think we may try using a fitted bottom sheet and a duvet on top.

We use the bench seats in our 2 berth caravan as singles, and have single fitted sheets on them which are a good fit. As we don’t have fixed beds, we leave the sheets on in the daytime & cover with a throw. We have single duvets, 10.5 tog, and these are warm enough.  Too warm, in fact.  We have a 4.5 tog one on at home all year round 😥

We had a Clubman SB and used normal fitted sheets and Duvets. The fitted sheets were a bit loose but are easily tucked in to make them tighter.

When we had twin singles we had a memory foam topper that I made a cover for like a big pillowslip, so no need for a bottom sheet just a duvet over us and a pillow.

We also have a Clubman SB and use a fitted Duvalay bottom sheet and a 4.5 tog Duvalay sleeping bag. The covers unzip easily for washing.

Very comfortable and money well spent in our view.

Duvalay foam for us too, with fitted zip on sheets, single duvet on top. Can't stand being zipped up in a sleeping bag.

We bought sleeping bags that are removable from the duvets inside. Also a fitted sheet made to the beds size. From a firm called freedomis.  Not cheap but excellent, ours is 5 years old and still looks as good as new.

We use sleeping bags but we are not 'zipped up' as only the bottom is zipped
