Touring Wales, some suggested CL sites
I post this information primarily for Kjell and family as promised elsewhere. List of suggested Welsh Sites, covering all areas, and diverse range of prices and facilities on offer. You can obviously pick out the places we used, but there are a lot of other sites provided by some familiar names as well, and the good thing is, many of the reviews have photos and links to websites. Hope it proves useful, but check out the current prices of course. Not all CLs, some nice private sites as well.

Hope it’s useful K! Caravachat has lots of English and Scottish Site reviews as well, most with photos and links.

I'll start the ball rolling! Have a look at Noyadd Farm just outside Builth Wells. A real gem with EHU and HS pitches and toilets/showers as good as many main sites. Great views wherever you pitch. The town has cafes & pubs and a good variety of shops. Nice drive up to Rhayader for the Elan Valley reservoirs and the Kite feeding station at Gygrin Farm.

It’s on the list, I have just copied review of sites list from Chat. Easier than trying to list them all, but feel free to add any more. There are some crackers on there, some we intend using on our next Wales tour.😁

I did edit it, realised I was logged in! Should be fine now though. 😁

I think you'll like South Lodge, Kjell, we certainly did. Where else are you thinking of visiting, as there are a few on that are not on that list that we've used and can recommend.
I have to put a dampener on M's recommendation of Noyadd Fm, as when we were there it was overcrowded, and not just by the odd van. So much so that the power kept knocking off across the whole site.

We have booked a CCC site at Cardigan Bay, the 2 CLs, and thinking of CCC Cannock Chase to break the journey north. Unfortunately, we only have 4 weeks for our trip.
We are visiting friends in North Wales first, booking a CL there, then before that we are at Garlieston and CCC Kendal.
On course to come in well under £20 per night on average, which is acceptable.

Have added a reply to your General Chat post which may be of some help.

Not surprised Noyadd Farm is popular, very good facilities for the price!
However, to find it overcrowded would be disappointing.
We would ideally have been away twice as long and seen much more of Wales, though we have been there a couple of times before, but we have to get back for Grandparent duties.
