We collected our Bailey Bologna Grande on March 6th 2019, the caravan has done 55 miles since collection, we are on site due to return 25th March. As instructed on the handover I checked the torque of the wheelnuts, nearside went fine with barely any take-up at all. Offside was going the same until I came to one nut that just turned and wouldn't 'bite', there is an approved caravan service agent at the site so I got him to have a look, his finding was that the thread in the brake drum was not effective. I've had to leave the caravan with them as they couldn't give the OK to drive it back.
Further examination of the brake drum will take place to see what the cause may be.
Check yer wheelnuts.

New drum required. Looks like there is a helicoil  in the faulty one, but cant be sure from the photo. Could have been catastrophic. Is this a new or secondhand van?
