We have had Lunar vans for about 16 years. They have all had some problem or other, our latest is a Lexon 530 made in 2013. I think that most of the floor has been replaced in the last 3 years due to delamination and there is some more to be replaced in the next few weeks. The caravans are good but in the attempt to reduce weight they have become more flimsy hence the flooring problems. Lunar now have a Customer Service Manager who you can ring up and speak to and she can get things moving. The major problem I have had is with Campbells and the quality of the repair work they have carried out, generally rushed and not finished properly. So much so that I complained to the Lunar Service Manager and she suggested taking my van to a different repair shop, still authorised by Lunar, to get the last part of the work carried out.

I bought a new Lunar in 2014, now coming up to its fourth year, brilliant caravan and still serving me well with no damp, no spongy floor, no leaks, tows well, but I did have a few overtightened screws that came loose in the softwood but a matchstick or two soon cured that. Oh and the charging unit packed up last year when abroad, but that's about it👍

We have a 2015 Cosmos. Damp found at the third service and the strap between the front panel and roof replaced under warranty. Water ingress last summer on front offside which was tracked down to the window rail and sorted out with another warranty claim.
Lost confidence in the van so decided to change earlier than otherwise would have done, new Coachman due next month.
When you splash your cash on a new van you cross your fingers and hope you have made a good choice but we have been caravanning long enough to know you can have water ingress problems with any make.

We bought a brand new Lunar Cosmos in 2017, a few nigles in the first six months, 13 in total then in October 2017 major water ingress. The dealer based in Preston could not get parts out of Lunar. Eventually after 5 months went through the tortuous process of rejecting the caravan. It took from January to June to finally get rid of the pile of junk. I would avoid like the plague. We bought a Swift Eccles as a replacement and so far delighted. We are still scarred by a truly awful experience. I think it took years off our lives. Lunar are totally sales oriented, they look great. Beware they provide zero customer service. I can’t stress too strongly AVOID!,

We had a 2008 Lexon for 5 yrs supplied via Campbells. The caravan was fine apart from micro-cracking of the front panel around the locker struts. Lunar fitted a complete new front under warranty, without much hassle
Campbells - marked floor covering during what little PDi they did. Handover was virtually a handover of remaining money owed. At first service they put black grease marks all over cream upholstery, then when pointed out, they removed marks with 'brake cleaner' and rags.
Wife in tears - never went back and luckily found a dealer to take over the remaining servicing (Kenmore) that were in a different league to Campbells, and made a brilliant job of replacing front panel

Just to dampen your confidence the wettest van we ever owned was a panel van water soaked the back within two days of purchase through a poorly fitted Heki, and repeated it eighteen months later! The driest vans have been the last three Lunar Caravans, the point being as I always say "pays your money takes your chance".
