Hello, the control panel on my Abbey GTS will not switch on after the winter break. So 2 questions for you good people. 1 who do you recommend for repair. Some time ago I read of a firm called Apuljack engineering and I also have heard of Sargent , just wondering who is best. Question 2. anyone know how to remove the panel,  it is above the entrance door and there is a silver coloured bezel surrounding it. Thanks in advance for any information.

There are no replies other than those you see above so I guess that means no one knows.😕

I suggest trying YouTube or Google.

Hello all ,now sorted with control panel, I made a schoolboy error, I have had the battery in the garage connected to a C  tech type charger so I knew battery was up to correct voltage and battery terminals were clean, however i didn’t realise was connected had some crudd on it. Cleaned up and all ok. What lead me to suspect battery fault was the electric engage mover would not work, I then realised you do not have to switch panel on to get mover to work.  Silly error I made.

Btw to remove panel the silver coloured bezel can be removed with a thin blade tool ,there are then screws to remove panel, so I am told.
