POI Files
Hi Brains of the club.
Can anyone let me know where I find the POI files for club sites to download to a sat nav?

Download the Garmin csv file along with the bmp (the bmp will be the map icon), find an online converter and convert the csv to gpx, rename the gpx and the bmp files with the same filenames such as camc.gpx and camc.bmp.
Transfer onto a USB stick that is formatted FAT32 and stick it into the USB port in the car, then follow the cars prompts to import POIs.

If you visit Archie’s website you can download a file for all the sites in Europe. When I checked it at the weekend it seemed to have local CLs and commercial sites as well as main sites.

POI FILES is it not time the Club updated these files
They are so out of date January 2020 last update!

Don’t bother; just download Archies as I mentioned earlier. I checked my SatNav yesterday (first time for a year or so) and it has the CL on the Isle of Wight that we booked.

Hi All,
I have already booked a ferry from Portsmouth to Santander with Brittany ferries (Car + Caravan).
I now want to include bike's on the car roof which does not exceed the original height declared, do I have to let Brittany Ferries know
Many thanks

You need to start a new discussion in the Overseas section as I don't think anyone will find it buried here in POI's? BTW I suspect you would have to let BF know.

Because they are not there. Two days ago, what was there didn't work on my PC, but I have managed to down load those for Garmin (csv files) OK onto my tablet. Problem is both those for CLs and Club sites are identical. There are no POIs for Club sites! The files are not dated, a deliberate error I suspect so members won't know how old they are.
When they eventually get sorted, you can always download the Garmin ones and use conversion software to change the format into that for TomTom.
