Voltage and water meter

We have a CBE PT 512 voltage and water meter in our caravan, and when we switch off the 12v mains switch, and put it back on again it blows this control panel, we now have spare broken two panels and wonder if anyone know if or where these can be repaired, as new one cost us £60-70 each time

    Strange that you have blown 2 Eileen, I am suspicious something maybe causing these to fail. Is this when you are connected to mains? If so perhaps there's a problem with your charger. Do you have anything connected to the 12 volt system when switching? Phone charger or inverter? These might cause a voltage spike when switched.

    Regarding repair this would depend on what's inside the unit if it is just a chip it maybe uneconomical to repair if there's some components in there a repair may be possible, there may even be a fuse or fusible link inside.
