Thanks, ET. I'll give it a try when I've logged in on the Kindle.

I have changed my profile picture within my profile account and it's changed there but nowhere else. I have cleared my cache and other people's have changed. Any ideas?
I will let Ian at Birch Hill Farm CL know about this thread.
Thanks

Success! New avatar now uploaded.
Not straightforward because I usually use FireFox, but I got there in the end.
Thanks Nicola, for letting me know. All the Best,
Ian Kelly

avatars certainly still can't be changed for Apple users.....no Adobe Flash
odd as photos can be loaded into posts without it.....

Here's Rowena's post from earlier in the thread, we'll have to wait and see what happens next. I can't use adobe flash on my android phone so although it looks as though I could change it via that device it doesn't work. However it's working fine on my laptop. I have noticed that the photos come and go so it's obviously not up to scratch yet. Pleased to hear Ian has been able to up date his avatar.

I have managed to change my avatar via my Mac Book, but not via Ipad. Ipad wont support Adobe, but it was easy on Mac Book as long as photo was right size. I just altered size manually.

Cheers David. The problem I had was that unbeknown to me Adobe Reader had not been updated in our renaming of new passwords so I had to uninstall it then reinstall it. However I couldn't find the change button but managed it with your help.👍

I just can't keep up with all this avatar change, so I'll just stick with whatever old ones that are still about at the present time.

I went for a complete sex change and a blond rinse! Note the tongue sticking out, it was heavy day out in the MH, required some serious shut eye!😁

Since I'm using a MacBook, I haven't dared attempt anything so I'm still in Dorian Grey mode.

No, not quite. It was the other way, and I daren’t post the terminology on an open forum!🤣.

You’re showing as a handsome, thoughtful, inquisitive type on my IPad, rather than Dorian Grey!
I didn’t load Adobe. Just go to the photo you fancy using, click on edit, click on the frame icon and it should allow you to alter the size of your chosen photo. It works best if you can lose some of the background, but leave the main subject central. Don’t forget to click on save after you have resized, and if it’s downsized enough, you should be able to upload. Sorry the terminology isn’t IT speak.......

Ah, but you should see the picture in the loft.

I have changed my photo and when viewing my profile it shows the photo.when viewing posts it shows as a small dot in a black square. Some other members photo are showing the same fault as mine whilst others are correct.!Is this a problem with the size of the photo or the website?
