Exactly! That's where we do 99% of our caravaning enjoying the company of like minded people on rally fields & basic C/L's which offer good value for money.

To us there's nothing better than a quiet site, a pleasant view, good BBQ, a few drinks & pleasant company.

Bistro's (fancy name for overpriced cafes) & bars are not needed & are just an excuse for bumping up the prices.

I think it would be true to say that some don't want basic fields or rallies. So the club has moved in favour of choices for members and visitors. In the case of sites with bar meal type food facilities there are just four available out of a big range of other types of sites.

Love Exmoor house Dulverton, because we can stroll to several nearby cafes , restaurants and Pubs, BUT a club run Bistro  onsite ? if the site is too far to walk to any nearby pubs, etc. perhaps but think that the Club should concentrate on its main remit.

Looking after Club Members and providing quality sites and facilities.

If the site is too far to walk to an eatery and you want to walk to an eatery it is the wrong size wink
