Now I've decided I'll most certainly be at The N.E.C. Show on Club Day in February I've started my shipping oops sorry no I mean shopping list. It starts with Snowdonia Cheese in case the 'borders' get closed next March , then it'll be bits and bobs { unless I hit the lottery jackpot Then I'll be looking at the latest Mercedes G-Wagon as tested and reported on in last weekends Sunday Waffle. It does 0 --> 60 in under 5 seconds, looks rather like an over-sized 1940's Landy and is very cheap at £153k for the pre-extras version which they don't expect to be in demand }
I'll be around the Club Stand if I can recognise it, about 1:00 til 2:00 for lunch & to see if any CT members show themselves !!

I was waiting for the usual cheese reference... 😀😀😀😀. We popped up to the Chatsworth market before Christmas and bought some truckles of cheese (different make) - it wasn't quite the same though......
I'll try for the 19th, but not absolutely sure at the moment - might have to be a different day.

Had a good, steady drive down & back to / from N E C today.
Saw lots of goodies & met some new Friends ( ), bought a few bobs worth of accessories BUT ( and whisper it softly ) just could not force myself to buy any North Walian milk products Folks stand in awe of Brian's Self Control these days .
I did notice tho' a stall, 3212 in Hall 3, selling Peggy Pegs. actually to be found at www.mirrorguard.co.uk { wink wink }
Did not see anybody claiming { or not } to be from CT on the Club Stand, no Rowena, no Rochelle & nobody else, so I just had a Big Coffe & Danish thingummy for lunch then back on the great trek around the Halls.
Hope everybody Found / Bought at least one 'Must Have' !!

Went to the show Friday with a friend who is looking for MH, diverted to Alko stand to try and establish if my replacement axle is covered by a 3 yr warranty...... Will call me back.
Anyway nothing stunningly new on the caravan front - quite liked the layout of the Bailey phoenix 640 but not the price, managed to resist accessories on the basis I've only 4kg load margin left.
Did extensive research on panel van conversions with friend, decided Wildax Aurora was favourite as a MH combined utility vehicle he's looking for. Just pipped Adria on design practicality.
I could be pursuaded into a panel van but Mrs V likes caravans better, maybe in a few years I will go back to the show and see if there's anything that works for us.

As above, nothing new on the caravan front...only thing different to our existing 2017 Clubman SI is the location of the USB ports now incorporated into the 'under cupboard' lights..plus the obligatory update of upholstery colour.
Did purchase a new Satellite kit.....as our existing 10yr tripod/dish is now falling apart. After some research, decided to embrace the new 'flat' dish technology from Falcon Technical...

ABM...I was assured not...and I have seen a few around sites both here and 'over there'.....but the proof will be etc etc...Interestingly there was one on a motorhome at Chatsworth a couple of weeks ago....but I never got the chance to ask the owner how it faired.
To be fair....when I asked the questions after the demonstration..I was told that I could come to their Cl, have a free night and they will set up to my c'van tv before purchase at...
https://www.hillfarm.org.uk/motorhome-and-caravan-camping-site/
I passed this on to a friend who is taking up the offer...
There is also another company called Sat Gear offering a similar product..but cheaper and without the auto 'inclinometer' (think I've got that right)...check out at this link.
If i remember...I will report back on performance from both here and 'over there'..
