Some people!!
Would I like to be a warden? No thanks, not after seeing what they've had to put with on site. Yesterday at least a couple of the men's showers had not been squeegeed after use and the floors were left with dried in dirty footprints, then this morning it was obvious that one of the caravanners had been violently sick in a toilet and not even tried to flush his "up-chuck" away, while another had emptied his toilet down the waste water drain outside of the shower block!! I wonder if these occurrences are a rarity or if they happen on a regular basis?

I don't think that they are that common Nellie as I have not seen them.
I do wonder about so,e of the comments written on reviews about wardens. 'The warden was unreasonable/officious/nasty/miserable/unwelcoming/unhelpful ...... delete as appropriate'. To be honest Nellie you can delete them all for me. At no time in my memory can I remember meeting such a warden. The strange thing is that the same few reviewers seem to meet the same type of warden regularly ...... strange that!
The only time I can remember OH commenting was regarding a warden that did look miserable. But as I said to Fliss he is deep in though and probably in his own world. Know he wasn't dealing with anybody and was full of fun when I had a brief craic with him in passing a few days later.

At Chirk recently OH was disgusted to find one of the showers absolutely caked in mud; on talking to the warden, he said he had a good idea who the culprit was, but no actual proof. Seems these things occur regularly; it's beyond me why anyone would do things like that, makes you wonder what their caravan/MH and house are like! But surely you wouldn't do that in your own, all I can think is that some people think that they've paid to stay, and that includes wardens cleaning up anything and everything and they don't have to themselves.

Good Morning
So, in answer to the above, yes, facilities left in a undesirable state happens often, it's not just club sites though. Most times it is unnecessary and does detract from other duties but it's all part of the job.
Ha, when I retire I'm writing a book on the life of a warden, complete with all those juicy details!!

Its not just confined to CMC. We have just spent a week on one of the other club’s sites and someone had walked their muddy dog into the shower block (muddy foot prints left as evidence) and appeared to have showered the dog in the shower without bothering to clean up the mess of mud and hair left behind.
The warden was doing his rounds at the time and when it was point out he just rolled his eyes – perhaps not that uncommon.

Dogs, children, speeding, toilet opening times, site arrival times, loud music, dirty lavatories ....oh goody, something for people to grumble about .

ah yes, those pesky customers.....I'm sure businesses would be far better off without them

In my experience, it is unfortunately more than the odd toilet. The state some are left is difficult to understand. 🤔 At one time the water pressure in the cisterns was turned so low, they used to take a week to refill. ☹️However, certainly not noticed that of late, so there really is no excuse. Not that there ever was.

WW, trust me a toilet block to maintain is one of the easier parts of the job

It does tend to stick in those grills at the service point!
