Hardstanding or Grass Pitches

Yes the site plans from a number of sites seem to be wrong, I wonder if anyone thinks to get the wardens to check them?
These are the new HS pitches taken from the car par

We're staying on the CC's White Water Park site at the moment. It has 97 pitches, all of which are Hardstanding, with 21 of them Serviced Pitches. When we arrived yesterday all the SPs were empty and when we walked round the site in the late afternoon, out of 32 vans on site only 1 was on a SP. This has increased to 3 today. I suspect that the popularity of SPs, that some talk about on here, is that they ensure H/S when a site has both grass & H/S pitches. Or perhaps the folks up here are just that bit more canny with the cash in their pocket than those from the south!!

We liked White Water Park and the serviced pitches because they seem very large and are hedged so you have a degree of privacy although given that many look out over the toilet block privacy could be a false hope

Well a further month has gone by and still the errors on the hardstanding pitches web page have not been corrected. I received the following in an email from the web contact team on the 18th of January :-
"I have forwarded this onto the relevant team and they will update the website. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us"
Surely 6 weeks is sufficient. Clearly there is little point in pointing errors out.☹️

We're from the south, you wouldn't catch us on a (£3.90 a night) serviced pitch....however, very happy to use them when they are the default standard on a site....home or away...

On sites where there are serviced pitches available I simply think 'staying 5 nights, fill water once and empty waste once. Probably extra 15 mins of my time compare to having tap and drain next to pitch. Saving about £19.50 that values my time at £78 an hour with no deductions'. I can do the work at that rate of pay
