Never used it but noted 'Please note you will experience some noise disruption and dust at this site for the foreseeable future as there is a new housing estate being constructed next door. We apologise for any inconvenience.'

Drove past it a few times. The railway runs past the back of it and the riad in front is a busy one.

Are we talking about the Chichester C&CC site? If so the noise from building work is probably over now as most of the new houses nearest the site were all but finished in the middle of last year when we stayed there. The railway is some distance away but there will be some road noise but it didn't bother us much. Some pictures of the site here http://www.davidklyne.co.uk/chichester_ccc_site.html

Have never stayed at a site in/near Chichester, but have frequently travelled along the A27.  There are lots of roundabouts and the traffic can be very slow around there.  Be prepared for the traffic jams, otherwise, have a great time.

Fortunately this site is on the A259 which is not as bad traffic wish although, of course, you have to use the A27 to get to it. Once of site there is quite a bit to do without going back to the A27.
