Swift command system
hi just been getting a new caravan with the swift command system. Started using it but when I pressed the home button it did not respond and I was therefore stuck on the existing screen. Also when on another screen when I pressed on a button the adjacent button responded. It felt like the touch pad is not aligned to the buttons below. I contacted the dealer but they suggested calling back Monday and that the key pad might need recalibrating. I was going to go on the Swift talk site to get some advice but thought I’d use this forum. Anyone had this issue previously and if so how was it resolved. Did you recalibrate and if so how do you do that. Thanks.

We have just purchased a 2017 swift autocruise select 122 from a lovely man who we are delighted to be on very good terms. I am recovering from quite a serious illness and retired early and on our first adventure, you guessed it the control panel packed up. The Motorhome has only been used twice and when we got it, it had 1400 miles. It still has less than 2,000 miles. We transferred the Fiat warranty but failed to the Swift one, this will be rectified now.
This is the help so far. Technical support for the manufacturer of control panel “ unclip the control panel and remove power leads and plug in again after 30 seconds” This has not worked. Called the supplier who remembers the original owner but cannot help us until warranty in our name. We feel left alone away from home with no lights and no water. We will go home early but what a design that leaves one with nothing. Bring back the older less complicated systems. We have had Swift caravans for many years, no problem but health doesn’t allow.
The water tank has a fault and I have cut myself on metal discs left under the big table. Can anyone put my mind at rest that Swift will eventually help and the control panels are a positive thing.
