If you want to book Southlands site as well, you might get a good package deal from the club by ringing the booking service.

Otherwise, check the online ferry price with the club. You'll find it in overseas holidays (I know, I know - it’s UK!). Then you can compare that with booking direct with one of the ferry companies.

I think you’re probably unlikely to get a bargain over a bank hol.

Give the club ferry service a ring tomorrow,I am sure it will not be as expensive as you have seen, have you tried Red Funnel ferries from Southamton as they do deals, not sure about over bank holidays,

My Brother lives on IOW and last year a day return by car on the ferry from Lymington with my staff discount was still £67

Ps and the Solent crossing is not the most expensive as some think it is the fifteenth

I assume that was for the caravan as well.

I'd give the club a ring in the morning and ask about a package to include Southlands site. Using Southlands brings the ferry price down a lot but you can only do it by phone. Similarly, Red Funnel via the club can only be booked by phone.

Red Funnel also do their own package deals using commercial sites. See the RF web site.

One way or another, I’m sure you can beat £347.

Perhaps JVB will let you have his staff discount.🙄

How did you get on CM?

As I've posted on another thread I booked ferry and Southlands through the club for 5 nights from 21/3.

Ferry for car, 6.17m van and two adults £89.60, noon sailings in both directions. Southlands 5 nights £91.

That is with Red Funnel Soton-E. Cowes.
