Wheel locks/clamps - Milenco or Nemesis?
Hi
I'm looking to buy a new wheel lock/clamp. I've narrowed it down to either a Milenco Wraith or Purple Line Nemesis.
They both appear to work in a similar fashion. Can anyone advise of any pro's or con's to be aware of, or specific reccomendations.
Thanks

I have a Nemisis Ultra and once set up it takes about 20 secs to fit. I rang my insurance company and asked about fitting at motorway services and they said would be covered. No brainer and a dam site cheaper than the alko ( unless the caravan comes with them.) you have to swap one of the wheel bolts and fit one that comes with the lock.

We have the Nemisis Ultra and get an insurance discount for fitting it. Never had a problem with it.
I have seen the Wraith advertised but have no experience of it. Given the Sold Secure rating though it should be just as secure, so may be price will be the decider.

Another one with the Nemesis.Advantages are that they are so easy to fit especially over the Alko lock.
I have found it does fit better on the smaller sections of the alloy wheel. When fitted to the larger section it does move slightly.
I have just seen the Wraith advertised,so it looks like their version of the wheel lock, but no experience of using one.

Thanks for the replies.
I’ve plumped for the Milenco Wraith.
Partly based on prices, and partly due to the fact it’s a newer model that claims to be “two and a half times tougher than Thatcham Cat 3”.
As we all know it won’t stop a determined thief but will hopefully deter an opportunist, plus it’s necessary for the insurance.
