Agree OP, with a good plan, surprising what you can do. We did a four nighter to Swansea (to pick a Fiamma Box up) not long after we got MH. We overnighted at Stratford, drove down central Wales, did the route over top of valleys to avoid M4 as Swansea we’re playing Cardiff (surprised), stopped off at an NT place, onwards to pick up box, that took two hours as couple selling it were lovely and we had a good look around each other’s new MHs, then onto a brilliant little site they recommended. Got up next day, stuck on M4 due to an incident, came off, went to Caerphilly Castle, then onwards to Tredegar, stopped first night, went to Caerleon for all Roman ruins there, went onto see something else, second night at Tredegar, then up and off via Chepstow Castle, onwards to Tintern Abbey, up to Monmouth, then home via Evesham. Home is Yorkshire, not as far as Aberdeenshire, but quite a way to Swansea. We did spot lots of places we had to miss out and went back to on our longer tour. Whistle stop tours can be great fun if you decide what to do, and don’t get held up anywhere.laughing
