Wheel Lock Spares?
I can't believe I am the only person to have lost the yellow plastic insert to use when driving without the Alko-Wheel lock in place? I don't seem to be able to find one online. For over £100 you can buy all the other little bits - and keys but I can't see the yellow filler thingy! I know where mine is/was - and that is on my pitch just vacated! It fell under the van when I arrived and I forgot to retrieve it!

Your are a Star JVB thank you very much. They don't charge postage. If anyone would like a spare let me know! I didn't get the right name for them that's why I couldn't find!
I imagine they are fairly necessary as the grit and grime would make fitting the wretched things even more difficult!

It's bright yellow, how could you miss it Pippah. ........... only joking
A few years ago OH had gone off for a shower. I stepped out of the caravan and the left lens pf my glasses fell out. My right eye does not work and I was not going to trample ove the gravel looking for the lens. I waited on the step for Fliss to return in order to warn her and for her to find the lens

£1.79 (p&p?) for a plastic plug seems very expensive for what they are ... I rarely think to refit mine for the journey. I don't have any more problems fitting the wheel lock with grit than without. If I lost a blank I'd just use a short bolt instead or find something of a similar diameter to screw in .... it'll cut its own thread 😉

Quite right EasyT - I didn't really check the pitch properly - in my defence there was a MH trying to exit the site and I was in the way - so I didn't complete the hitching and got out of the way and stopped in a less blocking space - leaving the electrics - which today simply would not attach until a very kind fellow camper managed it! Thank you that kind man at Ferry Meadows!
And yes I did have one of those aligning dubreys for the electrics - but still couldn't do it! I didn't search for the silicone spray which actually wasn't hiding as deep in the car as I had thought! Is there always something? Last time I arrived home from a relatively glitch free 4 weeks I couldn't actually lift the stabiliser off the hitch. I now have a lever pipe to help do the job. I do think the 13 pin electrics are not as easy to do as the old ones but I am told they are much more efficient!
Each time I need help from a fellow camper - I remind myself that I have given help to others in my time - but I may run out of credit one day!
