Does anyone have any experience in booking the Isle of Wight ferry with caravan for this summer? I've tried the Club website but the latest information I can find is from 2017...

From what I can see it's going to cost me around £250 odd return which seems very expensive. I understand that if you book a club site over there you may be entitled to a Club ferry discount, is that correct?

 We are 2 x seniors, 5.0m x 1.85m high car and caravan is 7.3 x 2.3 x 2.7m

Any advice would be appreciated.

There’s another thread running in UK Sites & Touring which might be of interest.

I've just had a quote today from the club for £89.60 ferry for car and van +£91 5 nights at Southland site in late March. The ferry needs to be booked by phone (office now closed for the night) but I'll be on it first thing in the morning.

Got the quote via the 'Chat' helpdesk and very pleased with the help I received.

I moan with the rest of us about many things "clubwise" but I cannot fault this service. Credit where it's due!

Shop at Tesco. Use the vouchers on Wightlink.

JVB if you look on the other thread about IOW ferries, as highlighted by TWs link above I've given more details on that thread.

Perhaps one of the moderators would like to lock this (duplicated) thread and direct posters to the other thread.smile
