i would appreciate any recommendations relating to the most suitable choice of tyre for a Freelander2 when towing a twin axle Lunar Delta.

My Freelander2  came factory fresh with Goodyear Wranglers fitted. I assume JLR knew what they were doing and so will fit the same again.

Except for price? or seriose off roading, why would you want to fit any other tyre than what JLR fit on their cars ,i would think they should know

To what ends ? OEM fitment would be matched to the cars fully laden capabilities including towing anyway.  Whats to gained by exceeding it?  The Freelander also has a high nose weight of 150kgs and most caravans are 100kg from what I read so thats not an issue.
