Hi All

Just wondering I have had to make two bookings for one stay asover a month end as had to wait for the second half to be released.  Do I need to tell anyone to merge the booking as the first one is for 1 night or does it not make any difference and just say at check in?

Thanks

Have you tried to amend your booking in "my bookings " in your profile ?

I believe the correct procedure is to tack on the days, when they become available, in the amend my booking section of my bookings. It is certainly what I did. Unfortunately, despite what it says, you don't get an email detailing the revised booking. So given the recent fiasco of mid term price rises flowing through to my bookings, it would be worth printing off a copy.

Probably best now to ring the club and ask them to merge the bookings. As you can't add dates to the first without deleting the second and if a popular time / site they might then not be available.   Otherwise I suppose, at worst,  it would just be two transactions at check in.

I have never bothered to merge when I have booked extra days. Never felt the need and just paid for both on arrival

In the circumstances mentioned by the OP my approach would depend on the availability shown on the website. If there seemed to be plenty of availability I would cancel the original booking and rebook for the complete stay. However if  availability was limited I would ring the site in question. I did this recently when trying to book the Blackpool site where I had managed to book four days but all as separate bookings. I rang the site and the very nice lady on the other end of the phone said not to worry she would combine them for me and she even sent me (by email) a .pdf files with the new booking. Obviously if the site is currently closed for the winter you would have to ring HQ rather than the site.

    Hello Tomorrow,

I've checked with my colleagues who have advised that you can call the Contact Centre (UK Club Sites 01342 327 490) who can make the amendment for you, however, you don't really need to worry about merging the bookings, as it won’t affect your stay. You can just leave everything as it is, and speak to the Site Staff on arrival.
