Creating Rubbish

When we receive our Monthly magazine there is usually several  leaflets in with the posting .Why do we have to receive this advertising when the Magazine is already mostly full of advertising,mine go straight into the recycling bin, I then have to pay my council to get rid of these unwanted items.If trash is not generated in the first place we would not have so much clutter to get rid of.and may be help the planet a little .Bob

    This is well covered in the link provided by Steve above. The reasoning behind the enclosures is also detailed by a member of staff who explains that they help contribute towards the cost of the magazine. As this is a duplicate thread I will close this but please feel free to contribute in the thread linked by Steve.
