If not why not join CMC members Janet and Geoff as they are running a pop-up caravan / motorhome / tent / horse box site inside the grounds of the wonderful Chatsworth Park, Derbyshire for the three-day International Horse Trials. Two full three day adult membership tickets, £70 each plus pitch for four days inside the grounds of a wonderful stately home for £190. If you want to watch top quality three day eventing and much more it is a good price. £70 EHU seems pricy but that’s down to having to get a huge generator. Four nights club site, £110 plus two tickets at £70 is £250. Comparable. And many visitors are not members

Erm, I have been to Chatsworth IHT. Not stayed though, it’s too close to home for us. I was lucky enough to get in two days free, worked on BHS stand. It’s a great event if you are into things horsey. Given the choice, I would prefer to be staying in the pop up camp rather than Club Site.

have stayed on the Club site for the duration of the event. It is a great atmosphere and well worth attending. Problem is the site isn't big enough to accommodate everyone so this is a welcome addition

Sorry but £70 for EHU is way to much!!!
The majority of modern vans, m/homes are equipped with solar panels & can easily go longer than that without going anywhere near the orange umbilical chord.
£190 for 4 nights site fees is again way over the top. You can get 4 nights at a Premier Inn for less!!

As far as I can see the OP has posted details of an event that might be of interest to other members, others should respect that.

The Premier Inn just up the road would be £328 for those dates (£362 if you want flexibility) Plus if couse you still have to drive to the event and pay £140 for passes.

If this is open to all is it a commercial enterprise in which case why is it being advertised here?

Caravan and camping tickets are £150 per pitch and include two adult three-day tickets to the event.
Upgrade your tickets to include horse trials membership for two people for only £40 - this is an exclusive discount for caravans and campers only. Membership includes exclusive access to the members' enclosure and all membership amenities listed above for all three days.
Admission to the site is available from noon on Thursday 9 May until noon on Monday 13 May. The site is within the grounds of Chatsworth Estate close to the event providing water, shower and toilet facilities. The site is accessed via the Golden Gates off the A619.

Think of it as a rally. Think of it maybe as one of terms and conditions of Chatsworth leasing land to Club for its site. Think of it as somewhere visitors can use their horse boxes for accommodation, those big posh ones with room for both equines and humans.
There are other options to Club Sites.........particularly for special events.2 -

I see it clashes with the Royal Windsor Horse show for which the Club holds an "event".

Have attended these events twice in the past at Burghley, it's a good few days for those with an interest and of course those with an interest would find the offer at Chatsworth reasonable, minus the EHU which is expensive.

Ah the EHU. Even if you pay for EHU it is still comparible with staying on the Club Site. The point is that the Club site is full. In 2018. We got around 100 outfits from tents to big horse boxes with around 50% taking EHU. We, and the co-marshall’s, are volunteers, some take time off work, we arrive Monday to help install temporary roads, loos, showers, water taps, peg out the site, set out the EHU with the super help of qualified contractors working for the IHT and Chatsworth staff. We then stay until late Monday to clear up. Why? Because the people who come along to the pop-up site are so appreciative and amazing company. This is our third year. £50 for four nights is very good value, £50+£70 for four nights for any number of people is also as good as most Club sites! You really can’t miss the sheep show.

Least you have a choice whether you want the hook up,this club should take note, anyway sounds like you doing a grand job good luck.
