just a reminder - I had almost forgotten - about the great member's offer from Cotswold outdoor shops. we were in Keswick and I finally had to replace some wet weather gear and fleeces  at the check out I vaguely remembered that the club had an offer with them , I asked and they said we would get 15% off and I got £45 off! So my membership cost me £6 this yearsmile

Just in case anyone else is buying stuff like that

We bought some stuff at C.O. this year. Till was playing up so assistant gave us 20% off, saving £30. One of the reasons I don't complain about membership fee as we always save more than the fee.

ps Why has JVB as dog owner shown an angry face for "dog friendly" shop?

Sadly  not  everybody  loves  animals  at  all,  some  just  don't  like  'em  in  shops.  Could  it  be  JVB  prefers  them  in  the  Cotswolds  and  Outdoors  ??wink

The "Go Outdoors"  chain of shops offer a greater range of quality outdoor activity products at a more  realistic starting  price than the very expensive Cotswolds shops..Also if you are a member of "Go outdoors"  you also benefit from the substantial discounts on all goods, ----- at £ 5.00 PA membership it's certainly good value.

Oh and by the way "Go Outdoors" is Dog Friendly with water dishes and nibbles for dogs.

    cool

I've saved loads at Mountain Warehouse as they've got great outdoors clothes for my son,  as well as for me! We got Sam his winter coat there this year as well as wellies and hat! Good quality and most importantly nice and warm so we can still get to enjoy outdoors on cold winter days. smile
