High moisture readings around toilet

Hi we have a 2015 Lunar Cosmos 564 on my last two services readings of about 21-22% have been recorded either side of the toilet everywhere else in washroom is fine mostly single figures we have failed to find any logical reason foe this as the area affected is only about 2 inches either side of the bottom of the toilet have anyone any ideas what could be causing this

    I have experienced high readings adjacent the loo. This was caused by the flush header tank drain pipe becoming detached from the tank body and dumping water into the interior.( pipe is nearly too short to reach outside cassette door! and was not correctly fitted from new) Despite wiping and drying this got under the laminate where it can take a very long time to dry out as the moisture is basically trapped.

    Don't travel with the header tank even half full. The water can slosh over the top.

    Have a look at the toilet cassette  hatch, they changed the design so it didn't have a drip rail on the top of the hatch, if the seal is not perfect you get a bit of rainwater seeping in under the cassette frame and appearing around the toilet. They changed it back again to have an integrated drip rail about this time. Check the hatch seal.

    On a more serious note - we had exactly this problem a couple of months ago when we discovered a leak from the shower tray which is on the opposite side of the van to the toilet.  It had only been leaking for a couple of days before we discovered it but whereas the damp readings were about 20% next to the shower tray, they were over 40% around the base of the toilet.

    The water was obviously tracking across the van and settling around the loo.

    It was an easy fix for the dealer but it did mean removing all of the bathroom fittings to allow the floor covering to be lifted to dry it out.

    Totally agree.  We used to travel with water in the flush and had damp around the toilet.   Repairer said caused by water in flush - now drain down each time.  Not worth the risk.

    Same thing happened to me. The result was a rather large puddle.
