Looks very well laid out and attractive. Some of us don't mind paying for quality. All pitches are superpitches. Good arrival and departure times. Must give it a try. The CMC might want to look at their business model.

Well, well. Funnily enough we have to be in the area in early March to catch a ferry. As Brother lives in Chichester and its our 40th. Wedding Anniversary we may well treat ourselves. Then again we may revert to type and stay on a local CL for £14 a night and use the money saved by going to the chippy. Who knows? Touring is so exciting.

It's odd how there are so many howls, from members and non members alike, about club site prices and yet support for the inflated prices at this site. I mean, what makes it worth the sort of prices they're asking for in winter? And what is so special about their super pitches? And do they offer a non EHU option? Or quick turn around pitches at reduced rates? It must have something to make it worth stumping up that much money I suppose!

I wonder if that company is berated at every opportunity about their pitch fees and T&Cs by people who nevertheless continue to visit the site?🤔

why not just go and try it, you might just like it.....
we usually stay on a different commercial (or a THS if there's one running) when in the area but decided to give it a try.
Yes, we knew it was expensive but were happy to try something that comes at things differently to the club...
the shower rooms really are something different compared to most other campsites.
as I say, we wanted to try it, so we did, and really liked it.

Two problems for me. Firstly its in the middle of no where and secondly I would need more for £40 a night site in November. It might well be an excellent campsite but I would struggle to justify paying that amount of money. Looking at it on Google Earth there seems to be a CL a couple of fields across.

From the C&CC site I can catch a bus! I can no longer cycle that far with the deterioration in my knee although fortunately I can still manage to walk a mile or two or longer if I take it easy. So yes, its in the middle of nowhere as far as I am concerned.

Looks very nice and I certainly would not rule out giving it a try, so as to form a proper opinion. However, we have a CAMC service pitch booked in May and this place would cost £130 more for a week. So it would have to be good.😀
Oh we shop in all the main supermarkets, inc Waitrose. It depends who has sent us the most money off vouchers.😂

The proof of worth is that which folk are willing to pay. I guess if this business is viable at these prices then folk are willing customers and they have the fee structure about right (for this site). Satisfied and happy customers are also likely to return, it would be interesting to know how many do.

Certainly looks like the weekends are filling up & yes some people are prepared to pay a premium price for their leisure time .👍
I don't suppose you'll see many CMC happy campers at a place like this .😘

It would be good to know (because I'm certainly not going to head down there myself to find out!
) exactly what is so special about this site which makes folk willing to pay these prices. It certainly can't be location because there are loads of more economical alternatives nearby. Maybe a touch of the Hyacinth Bouquet (spelt Bucket) syndrome?
