Overnight campers' action

Jealous? Of you having to fetch and carry water, faff around with corner steadies, wheel clamp, alko locks, hitch lock and that’s only the on site drawbacks. Yeah, right! 😂😂😂😂

Nah, have a thought for the good guys who aren't members.
Anyway, where would we get our laughs without certain non-members posting in their own inimitable styles? 😈

That might be a good dodge down in rufs car park........clamp yourself, it might just work!👍😂

The sun does that to folk, I forgot to lock my door during the excessive heat this summer, not good☹️

Oh god! , you live in the dark ages, have you not heard of service pitches ? corner steadies maybe, but i have seen MH owners faff around with wheel ramps etc, hitch lock etc, never bother once awning etc is up if somebody wants to steal my 2008 coachman fire away, ok it may have onboard some personal stuff but all our valuables we take into the car, safe in car, but will not disclose where, only old clothes in van and probably micro wave most valuable item onboard

Have not found that where we stay in our now back to Tugging,it more a case of motorcaravanners doing the fetching and carrying to and from to save them moving their vehicles with their awnings in use and unless its a PVC then rear steadies at least seem to be very much in use to stop the bounce and swaying, what are wheel clamps ?
Ps we tend to only need one leveling ramp (some times) rather than most times with the sevel nose downs

An awning!😱 😨 🤪

Why would I want an awning? I didn’t have one with a cvan so I certainly wouldn’t want one now. If I drove away and left it, I'd have to return to collect it instead of moving on to the next glorious spot.
Keep it simple is my method. That’s enlightened, not dark ages.

The word 'bickering' comes into my mind when I read discussions such as this. Only read the last few pages so maybe the earlier posts were more interesting - may come back to them sometime.

each to their own, but you might find it difficult to find a glorious spot to move to in southern spain during December/January, personally i prefer to find a good site/pitch and if we want to travel further afield for a couple of days, book into a B&B

I always park legally, Rufs. Please don't cast that slur on me.
Fortunately, I won’t be anywhere near Spain in Dec/Jan.👍🏻

I would think that most have families but their grandchildren could well be grown up and live well away from their parents and grandparents. Perhaps they use their LV's to visit them when convenient. Then again they could well be like a long time poster on here who doesn't get along with most of his family.

Caravanner takes umbrage at a camper van parked up on free car park..thin end of wedge........short interlude around rights and wrongs of people parking where they shouldn’t.........tour of Bristol’s streets and motorhomes used as dwellings........then it diverts to how easy things are over there.........musical interlude from Nirvana.......back to what’s easier Van or MH.....depends where you are.......what you’re in.... Bb reads all glossy brochures that arrive with his Club Mag......AD’s off to Cuba......
Not necessarily the running order, but the gist is there, no one has fallen out, no name calling, no reports and no moderation. A quiet evening really......
