presumably, as long as I don't sleep, I'm ok and as long as locals don't eat sandwiches and drink tea in their cars, they're OK, too?
You and the locals can eat their sandwiches and make tea or coffee using a flask. I suspect that you are OK to sleep as well as long as it is not overnight

yes we will be tugging our caravan through France and down to Spain start 2nd April return 26th June, but we enjoy the winters in the UK, lived in Scotland for 14 years so we are quite hardy, and summers are just great, as i think i said before we did consider a MH but cost was an issue as was practicality, Rufs does not travel too well on a bike and towing a car was out of the question.

There are some interesting youtube videos of folks who 24/7 in MHs/campers, for a large variety of reasons. Guess if it was me, I would choose somewhere pretty.

That is what some still fail to understand "over there" with its huge amount of space and much less regulated (it seems)ways of dealing with ,what in the UK is very much space related, making it more difficult to cater for what a few see as "needed"for their lifestyle, hence the problems that arise when they clash with what residents see
