Million dollar Molly
Well not quite ..... nearly 2 years ago she had he cruciate ligament operated on ... titanium plate in her knee etc. Last Monday she had her other knee operated on for the very same reason. You wouldn't have thought that she'd want to play, but she does, she's obviously too stupid to realise her knee should be sore & she should be resting. The first knee was paid for with insurance at a little over £3000 ..... the 2nd knee was paid for by yours truely's credit card. 🤔
I'm weighing her knees in when she goes ..... 🙄

She was 9 last summer & is a mutt...... bit of lab, bit of staffy, a bit of most things. In all other respects, she's fit & healthy and years to go before we think of the unthinkable.
If I could I'd post a picture of her .... a link is the best I can muster

She has plenty of time to make good use of it then. I remember years ago when my eldest daughters cat was hit by a car and had a smashed hip repaired I built a box out of a tea chest with a weldmesh front so that she could be just let out under supervision. I can imagine that the cat must have been glad to get its freedom back.

I hope the other two legs are in good nick 'MM', all 'Credit' to you for doing what you have done for Molly 👍
My daughters Dogue de Bordeaux just had a hip op at 'Cave Vets' Somerset, luckily insurance covered it

Years ago, one of the series of Guinea Pigs that the children had develped a sudden paralysis of its back legs. It was pathetic to see the poor wee thing trying to get about on two legs draging its hind quarters behind it. My initial thoughts were midnight euthanasia, but I then thought of Lego, and built a sort of trolley with two wheels.
It took the wee thing about 15 seconds to work out what to do with it and it had another couple of years to live up to its name of "Scampy" !

Good on you Nav, a great solution.
I daren’t add up what our Choccy Lab costs us each month in drugs, alternative therapy, etc....... But he’s a very loving and happy part of our family. Recently parted with his Crown Jewels, a change from all the arthritis and spondylitis treatment.........
Has he slowed down....has he heck! Crackers most of the time. But we love him🐾🐾💋💋🐾🐾
