Chatsworth Xmas Market and Club Site
Morning,
If I have a pitch at Chatworth club site are we still able to access the grounds of Chatsworth house?
If so, does this include access to the xmas market?
Also, is the market worth attending.....................or is it the same as any other city centre xmas market
Thanks in advance

MrsK. If you fail to get the answers you need here try phoning the site. The wardens should know the answers to your questions.

Its a pay by car event, so you might need to phone the site to see if foot visitors get in free. Take your wellies, and a huge wallet!

We stayed at Chatsworth last year whilst the Christmas Market was open and we also visited the Christmas Display in the House. If staying at the Club site you have free access on foot to the Market and the restaurant/shop area housed in the old stable block (pretty impressive in its own right) As to whether the Market is worthwhile how long is a piece of string. If you like wandering around markets probably yes but for an interesting stay I think you need to combine it with a visit to the House. (book on line before you come) Our Brazilian visitors enjoyed it but having left 25 degrees in São Paulo some days before they were frozen stiff in the low temperatures of sunny Derbyshire!!!

Thanks everyone for this information, and a special thanks foe the taking the time to post the photographs.
The reason for the visit would be more as an excuse for somewhere to go in the cold season for a weekend than anything else.
(Already have a stay in york booked)
