We have a 2006 Lexon EB and the one of the front drawer fronts have broken off the carcass.  I have tried the Lunar Spares site but with no luck.  Does anyone have any other ideas where we might get a replacement?  We still have the wooden front, so could fit it to another drawer carcass, if we can find one.

The plastic fittings have broken.  Already tried to glue it back without success.

take it to a carpenter, they will repair for a small fee.

Glue a panel made from the lightest plywood that you can find, to the back of the drawer front. Size and position it so that it fits between the plastic drawer sides. Now screw through the plastic sides, into the edge of the plywood. Don’t rely on screws driven into the drawer front, it’s probably hollow.

Jennyc, have you tried putting screws in the edge of plywood. undecided Aluminium angle brackets bolted through would work better and be a dam sight stronger.  smile

Make a fillet down the side with araldite. The caravan will disintegrate before the drawer.

Thanks Lornalou. Yes my description of the type of repair which my husband has made in the past was incomplete. Sorry. He actually glued two vertical strips onto the rear face of the plywood, before screwing into them, which I’d forgotten. You’ve suggested aluminium angle brackets which I can visualise being bolted to the original sides, but not the front. And their small surface area might not hold onto the original drawer front very well. The essence of what I incompletely described is to create a new front to the drawer using light materials, with the original drawer front being attached, using glue, to that new structure to restore the cosmetic rather than structural integrity of the original.

Even now I’m not happy with my wording. A picture would have helped but it’s a bit late for that.
