Beautiful and sunny this morning. Going to bag my last remaining Wainwright in this area - Clough Head.

Well funny you should mention that...

Clough head has always been jinxed for me. We tried to climb it about ten years ago. We started off in brilliant sunshine and did Great Dodd then went towards Clough Head. About halfway we saw bad weather coming in from Keswick. We had just got our waterproofs when it started hailstones and high winds. We decided to take the exit down from Calfhow pike. We also tried it again two times but was defeated by the weather.

Anyway finally did it today, glorious views and a flat camera battery.  On my Fuji xp the on off button is next to the video start. So after a few low level pictures I  pressed the video button while putting the camera in my pocket. I have endless minutes of video showing the inside of my coat. Guess Clough head got the last laugh!
