It’ll depend what you want to tow.
What's the all up weight (MTPLM) of your caravan and what’s the kerb weight of the car? Also, what is the GTW of the car and the legal max it can tow?
It'll also need to comply with whatever categories your driving licence entitles you to drive.

Also check the maximum nose weight on the towbar as many French cars have a very low allowance.

Ah, yes. I forgot nose weight. 👍🏻

Silly replies? That’s quite rude and a bit rich coming from someone who asked for advice but gave virtually no information to enable us to help.
If you consider our replies silly, it says much for your knowledge of towing requirements and outfit matching.

The Peugeot is a excellent towcar just have a look at the reviews, last year we brought a new Ford Kuga 2.0 diesel powershift, the driver who worked for the Ford dealership despite getting a good discount from his employer brought a 3008 and loved it.
Have a look on the towcar match site it is a good match, take it for a drive and see how it feels.

It very much depends on the distance between one end and the other, Easy, and whether my crystal ball is clear or cloudy.🙂

Fair enough but don’t go asking any more questions as I’ll just tell you to go twang your elastic band.

Our dealership group has a Peugeot franchise at one site. We've sold quite a few to people who have used them for towing caravans. From memory the 5008 was highly recommended recently as a towcar. A 2.0 Diesel Auto version should make a pretty reasonable proposition as a towcar, but interestingly when the 3008 is "translated" into the new DS 7 - it's not that good.
