    Good Morning

The above post is true but alas I'm afraid is no more. If a pitch is available for use, it is now available to be booked. I'll go no further as my posts seem to rapidly disappear these days?

Seems they still stick to the old ways of keeping some spare at Malvern, JK. The warden there told us that only last month.

It is site specific, but in time the overall majority of sites will have no spare places TW. I have one at the moment but that has gone for next year.

Thanks, JK. That explains the anomaly.

To me, on most sites, keeping a spare pitch made good sense to cover emergencies such as members breakdowns or illness.

That is what we were told when on a site in Norfolk ,but as the warden then pointed out, when i queried what happens if full and some one cannot leave,I just got a wink and the impression that what the eye does not see etc,as HO staff do not understand site management at the coal facecoolsurprised

     Hi Wayne and Judie,

Thank you for your feedback. Please can you let me know what site was showing there was no availability and we will investigate this. Can you please drop me an email communitymanager@camc.com with the site name, that would be really helpful. There is likely to be an explanation for this but without knowing the site it is difficult to advise.

The late availability is kept up to date and members can view this here:

    Late Availability

I am going to close the discussion as we have had a few reports about posts on here and I want to keep the forum a friendly and helpful place to be but please be assured I will investigate once I know the site and will update with any info.

    Many thanks.
