12 volt problem.
3 weeks ago we had the van out for a check of the gas systems, prior to winter trip. We used our mover to pitch up, on final line up the mover died, when connected up to site electrics the mains and 12v was working okay, return caravan back to storage. Forgot to mention when we had used mover the better half though she could smell a slight burning smell, we put down to someone's barbecue.
On Friday19th brought van home and tried to put it on drive with mover, got a whirr from it and it died again. So put van on to mains the on-board volt meter indicated 12.8v again mains and 12v systems worked but battery did not charge, checked PSU battery15amp fuse and it had melted replaced fuse, when I disconnected mains the volt meter and 12v lights went off. Tried charging battery but reading showed only 6.7v, however the battery indicator showed green ie charged up, but when charger disconnected the indicator shows white ie dead battery. Took battery to Halfords who got same result so bought news battery.
Today put new fully charged battery on switched on 12v system and nothing registered, turned on motor mover isolator tried mover an again only a whirr.
Any Ideas will be off in 3 weeks so will Try and get a service engineer asap 2mrw.

Agree with the above, seems like a charger unit fault.
Isolate the PSU, with a new fully charged battery everything should then work.
