Has anyone any experience of staying here over Christmas and going up to the Sandringham estate to see the royals arriving for church.

On tv there never seems to be hoards of people so does this mean that admission is by ticket only?

Thanks

sadly I don't, there used to be a poster, IanH, who was a great royal fan and was often there and would have answered your question, he still looks in and may give you a swift answer.

Apart from that ring the wardens at the site and they should be able to help.

Hi..we stayed at sandrinhSan over Xmas 3 years ago....we didn't go up to see the queen arrive at church..but spoke to a few who did go...there wasn't any tickets I am sure...but was told it was very busy up there...so best to go up early to get a good view I think .
