Hi Everyone,

We have been caravanning for about 12 years and love it. We have been members of the CMC for about half that time. Previously we were members of ADAC as we lived in Germany.

We look forward to picking up new ideas and tips from the forum and hope we can contribute effectively as well.

    Hi again, nilrem. 

    Do you have a specific role in the club? That is, are you a staff member or a newly recruited mod from the membership? How do you see your role as a mod developing?

    Hi Tinwheeler,

     

    I have no idea why I have been set up as a moderator - did I press the wrong button? Can you tell me who to ask for it to be changed.

    ADAC is roughly the  German equivalent of the AA but they provided info on Caravan sites, camping etc. Their rating system for sites was, IMO, excellent.

    Right, Nilrem, I’ve reported it to Ro.

    Let me explain that, in the other thread, I asked you to introduce yourself because it appeared that a new moderator had been launched on us with no word of introduction from Ro of any staff member which was a bit puzzling. 

    Instead we find it was CT being CT.

    Welcome to the forum which often performs to much the same standard as site Wi-fi 🤪
