Has anyone stayed at Moreton in Marsh lately? I've read that the new pods are on what was the large enclosed dog field. Is that the case? And what is the situation as far as a dog area is concerned? It's always been one of our favourite sites but haven't been there since early in the year. So just wondering what effect the changes might have had?

I read a recent review Moulesy which said the area previously used as an extension to the playing field (the bit with a small hill etc near the footpath to Batsford) seemed good as the new dog walk. A couple of reviewers hoped the club would put in a gate over that side to the Batsford walk, but that would depend on the landowner extending the right of way perhaps? We've been there a lot of times but not recently. One of our grandsons visited us and enjoyed the play area but I can't remember many children using the field bit so maybe it has made a good dog walk. The original one could get very wet (not much fun for the pod users if it gets squelchy. The watery hint is in the name of the town I think....?! wink
