Breathable caravan covers
our first year of owning a caravan, we are now looking for a breathable caravan cover for winterising! Does anyone have any recommendations? And any tips would be handy.
many thanks

Personally I would not have one as caravans need a flow of air through to keep dry/fresh. They can also scratch the windows as when windy they flap/move about and rub on windows. some will say they wouldn't do without but it is a personal preference. Plus if you have a solar panel on roof this will be blocked off from the light.

You can buy a more expensive cover like the Pro Tec or Specialised ( I think) which have an access flap, I have done in the past, or just a size generic Maypole cover which we do now and find it does everything we want at a third of the price.....
ie It protects from tree sap, birt dirt, UV, prying eyes and a bit of weather protection. And possibly being green makes our van a bit less of an eyesore on the front garden....
In 30 years of vanning we've always covered the vans when not in use and never suffered any damage to the van from the cover, even when we stored it at my dads's on a North Wales hillside. But we've always been pleased with the protection it offers......
Most people who say don't bother covering it really mean they can't be bothered covering it......not quite the same thing......
