Tyre wear with BPW chassis
I have always had an ALKO chassis, so am new to the BPW chassis on my Elddis Avante 462. I have notice that after aprox 10K miles, both tyres are wearing on the outside edge. I have been caravanning with similar size caravans for 30+ years, and have never come across this before. Any comments?

I would guess that it could be a number of causes, you would need help to get to the bottom of it.
Could be
a. fault with the axle or suspension leading to uneven wear.
b. Fault with tyres or tyre pressure.
c. overloading of caravan.
I would check your van weight at a public weighbridge next time you return from a trip, and tyre pressures. Once you have eliminated these have the tyres inspected. Then you would need some help to see if the axle and suspension is in good order.

BPW chassis used to have an adjustable tracking/suspension system on the axle. If this is fitted to yours, it's possible that it needs resetting.
In the same way as with a car, badly adjusted wheel geometry can cause excessive tyre wear.
