probably been asked a zillion times! But does anyone have any updated latest info on this. It just let me book for New years eve this year and into 2019 . I don’t wanna start buying firework tickets and restaurant bookings to have my booking cancelled later down the line ?

Thanks

This what the Community Manager wrote in November 2017 in reply to a similar question.

Hi John, Our lease for the site runs out at the end of 2018, and we will be in discussion with our landlord about whether or not there is any possibility in extending it. Further announcements about the future of the site will be made as soon as we have any confirmed news in the new year.

As the lease runs out at the end end of this year, i would think it will be run as Baltic Wharf and a few others,on an annual lease with a clause giving the landlord the option of giving notice of about six months to end the lease, which will mean only money for temp repairs spent by the club to keep it going as on other short term lease sitesfrown

Crystal Palace site is saved, at least for another year.

    Hi everyone,

Some good news, as per Jill's post above.

We are pleased to announce that The London Borough of Bromley Council has recently informed us that the plans to redevelop the area where Crystal Palace Club Site is located, have been temporarily postponed. These redevelopment plans would have closed the Crystal Palace Club site forever, from the end of December 2018.

Following discussions between the Council, and the Club, we have agreed terms for a short term lease while they plan the redevelopment works. This lease will enable us to keep the site open until mid-December 2019. There is a possibility that the lease could be extended further, but this will be communicated to our members later next year.

We know London is a  very popular destination for our members and are pleased to enable our members more time to enjoy one of our most popular and historic sites.

    Evening

Why don't you just book it and see what happens? If the lease is extended at least you'll have bagged a pitch?!

There are no pitches to book after 16th December 2019 and beyond currently, as I expect Kate has already discovered, hence the request for an update? Booking on the off chance is not an option?
