Snowdonia in October

Hi all, I’m strongly thinking of taking our ‘van over to Snowdonia in mid October to ride the various steam trains among other things!

has anybody any tips or information on sites etc?

  If you are heading for Llanberis this is an excellent site to stay and within walking distance of the Snowden Mountain Railway. http://www.davidklyne.co.uk/llanberis_touring_park.html

  I would second the Llanberis Touring Park. An easy walk into Llanberis and the facilities on site are excellent, as are all Morris leisure sites.
