Club sites too expensive

CMC sites are not Expensive. They charge a going rate which some people find easy to pay.
Do they offer good value for money for the outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking and cycling to explore the area ? IMO -- No.
Do they offer value for money for the TV loving, curtain twitching, OAPs ?. .IMO - Yes.
So in conclusion the CMC is not too expensive for some, as can be seen by by their posts on here. The CMC are catering for their own unique customer base,----- but will it last ?. Many people want the CMC to modernise and be all inclusive to a broad spectrum of potential customers. Will they -- I doubt it.

well recent on site club experience like yours is always useful when talking about club sites and who uses them and who doesn't, what happens on site? - that sort of thing, it gives you more credence when you post

Don’t ask what? Surely you don’t think I’m going to ask the question "how come you’re using CLs as a non-member"? As if I would.🙄

Do you know any TV loving, curtain twitching OAPs that frequent CC sites? I don't. I thought you hadn't been on a CC site for two years? Did you see many then?
Keep posting K as my doc always said that laughter is good for one.

Why thank you Mouslesy it is nice to know at least someone sees a chink of light to the wider world out there. I could ask you to name a more expensive site but I wouldn't be interested in that. I'd be more likely to use a Club site.

Why would I bother looking at the price of children and dogs CS. I have already said I have neither of these. Price for children and dogs hold no interest for me whatsoever and I don't mind paying deposits. No one bothered to ask about any of these, the focus was on what sites where cheaper not what were the other cost. I took a second look and noticed for a family of 4 the price of WSHP is only 90p a day more than Willingcott and for all the extra facilities which would appeal to a family, many might consider that worth it. By the way I didn't stay at WSHP but took advantage of a bargain offer at the C&CC site at Lynton which in August was £6 cheaper than Willingcott and Damage Barton and for the record the pitch I used was hard standing with 16A EHU.

Sorry PD you cannot state one site is cheaper than a neighbouring club, implying that it is always cheaper site and leave it at that, you should have said that only this month and applying only to you. You were cherry picking.

If you followed the thread I think you'll find myself ( and from memory) TW, and ET all said the same thing? We even posted examples and named sites

Should I? Is it not down to the individual to find the value for money sites? Site prices always vary according to season and offers, surely everbody is aware of that. I have expressed my point of view with examples others have expressed theirs. I am going to leave it there and let the readers make up their own minds. I toured for nearly the whole of the peak season using a variety of sites for an average price of about £18p.n. I think that is pretty good value in peak season for two adults.
