Windbreakers

These might be worth considering!
It's a 'blocker' rather than a 'breaker' mind apparently.

I'm not personally a great fan of windbreaks, but the best one I have seen is the Kampa Pro Deluxe. They have metal (I think aluminium) stays to support each vertical pole. They are not cheap though, and once it's up you wouldn't want to keep taking it down every 5 minutes! The 3 panel retail at about £130 and the 5 panel at about £200. Start saving!!! 😀
Just found the 3 pole version......

Enjoy!

Some years ago I used to have one of these...
...a bit awkward to put up, but good for using the Cadac when the odd shower about!

We are changing from a porch awning to a full length canopy with side walls, but no front. Our chosen windbreak is one with adjustable support poles instead of guy ropes, and will be used partially screen the canopy from the front in the untidy 'bits-and-bobs' corner.

We bought the Kampa variety too. Looks great but a pig to put up, even with two pairs of hands, especially if you're on a hardstanding so we tend not to bother with it
The cheaper 'canvas' type which slots into the awning rail is far simpler to deal with.

Best windbreak? for us its the Isabella ones that have a ground spike and plate for each vertical pole - plus horizontal poles to connect the tops of the vertical ones. It is as stable as it looks! And you can still put it up on hardstandings.
The downside ? (yes there is one.) is the price.

Agree and agree, one of our best buys after years of split poles and days of repositioning and hitting them in again......once paid its forgotten And enjoyed

One thing more... as you can see from my avatar - we have a dog...
Dogs, dog leads and guy ropes don't necessarily go together!! But you have a fighting chance with the Isabella type as the guy ropes are optional..the windbreak is often stable enough without them !!
