Nemesis Security Lock
After having to relocate my caravan due to my storage site closing, I have now improved the security by adding a Nemesis wheel lock to the off side wheel.But after fitting the new wheel lock it slightly "rocks" where the arm goes through the alloy wheel.
Can anyone else who have one of these locks, and they do seem much easier to fit on site than the Alko type,have this rocking.
I will give Purpleline a ring as well to see if this is normal.

Don't know about rocking, do you mean loose from wheel to lock, if so read instruction about adding washers that come with lock like previous post. great little gadget and my insurance says is ok when on services and hitch lock fitted as well. so easy to use but will not stop theft when they use burning equipment. nothing will unless you remove wheels.

Thanks for the replies,yes I had used the washers,but this was a rocking up and down where the bar goes through the alloy wheel,earlier today I revisited the van an more by luck than judgement,I have large and small spokes on the alloy wheel and by relocating onto a smaller spoke the wobble stopped.I think it was to do with the recess on the back of the unit where the bar slots into on the larger spoke gives it more play.
It does look a fair piece of kit with none of the fiddly alignment of the Alko wheel lock,it only takes seconds to fit,and yes LL1 it won't stop burning or cutting gear.

I have found that it does fit some spoke alignment positions better than others. To get around this I will remove the wheel nut with the receiver on and move it to the best stud. Don't have to do it often but sometimes the position of the wheel just doesn't give a good location for the bar.
Still 100 times better and much easier than the Alko thing.
Have considered buying a second receiver bolt and putting it opposite the current fitted one on the same wheel, this should give the best fit at all times.
