The small print that is in most legislation is what makes the money for legal profesion and why they can charge exorbitant fees,to get the guilty off-
Another example of trying to stop litigation ,is site staf As not being allowed to give "visitors?"the pitch number of site users, and why the old style boards that were in offices giving names, dep dates on what pitch they are on is no longer on public view,or even in use now

Hi everyone,
To clarify, since last year we no longer publish a list of wardens either online or in the magazine.
For each individual named on the list we would need to obtain explicit consent and there would need to be a legitimate reason for why their details and location should be made public in this way, so the decision was taken not to publish a list. This is to comply with the new EU General Data Protection Regulations, and with some 800 Club staff working on the network, together with Affiliated site owners, it’s just not practical to do this. Another requirement of the new law is to keep published personal data to a minimum, which could reduce the benefit of publishing it at all, and a process would have to be introduced to ensure it is continually maintained, accurate and up to date.
If anyone has a query about a particular site, our Contact Centre staff will be happy to help.

Thanks for the clarification. As there is little point in further comments I will now close the thread.
