Hi can anybody offer up any ideas. We have a 2006 Bailey Ranger and it has developed a squeaky section of floor right in the middle of the van.The floor has not gone soft or spongey at all. It still feels solid if you stamp on it but when you walk over the middle of the van it squeaks quite loudly.Would be grateful for any ideas.

Thanks

I'm sure that all floors will flex slightly by the very nature of their construction and materials. Our Lunar's certainly does. This causes a squeak which I am pretty certain is coming from where the cooker and or fridge is fixed to the floor. The tiny amount of movement on the floor seems to be enough to generate noise from where the various surfaces meet.

We also got a very annoying squeak from the bed when it was made up. Every time we moved on one particular part of the bed it squeaked. It took some time to discover it was actually the fabric of the cushions rubbing on the corner of an adjacent cupboard. We solved it by putting a small piece of cotton fabric (an old handkerchief) between the touching surfaces which solved the problem immediately.

Squeaks and other noises are notoriously difficult to pinpoint sometimes.
